Plot twist, it's actually great!
The ocean view from my room was amazing as I enjoyed picturesque sunsets with a cold drink in hand. The location is unbeatable for exploring local attractions. The staff were accommodating, and I loved the rustic charm of the hotel. Just beware of occasional noise from the street below!

The staff was complacent.

The venue is clean, with perfect and excellent location near to restaurants, 2nd best seafood restaurant, and the historic center. The staff is wonderfully friendly and amiable...
It's a pity but the water pressure is weak.

We enjoyed a fantastic family getaway with two couples, taking in the fine ocean view while relaxing by the pool. The best part was the access to nearby attractions, like Mazatlan Golf Club, made our days even more fun.
My kids wished for better dining options for picky eaters.

I loved staying at this hotel. It is truly a quaint local place. Being downtown was excellent, I walked the beach for miles. If you want to experience the "real" Mazatlan on a budget (room $44 usd including tax), great place to stay. Many historical places of interest within walking distance..
The uneveness of the walking surfaces, no elevator, tall step into the bathroom.

I had a fantastic experience at Hotel La Siesta. the venue was pleasant and tranquil, and I really appreciated the location next door to El Fish Market, which is known as the second-best seafood restaurant in the city. being close to the old city center, market, and enjoying the sea views made my stay even more enjoyable. I'd definitely stay here again!

It's very cheap and ok for a few nights is alittle far from all the other famous hotels
I didn't like that the wifi Internet was only outside of the room

We we're only there for 2 days. Beds were comfortable. People were friendly and helpful.
The only thing we found fault in was the lighting in the stairways--very dark (we're all over 70). And if you want quite it's on the main street.

The location was awesome, really close to the beach and various activities. We played a couple of rounds at the golf courses nearby, a blast! The ocean view from our room was fine. Just a heads up, it can get noisy, so earplugs are a good idea.
